Our association was formed in 1920 and has the distinction of
being the oldest conservation organization in the State of
Indiana.  A few men with futuristic vision, recognized that our
natural resources and game habitat needed protection from
exploitation by ruthless and selfish interests.  Conservation
measures and laws were needed to protect fish, wildlife
and the environment.  Fostering understanding and trust
between sportsmen and the general public.  While developing
public support for conservation efforts were the initial steps
toward accomplishing this.  Such efforts continue today as the
Lake County Fish & Game Protective Association provides
support for the protection of wildlife and the environment
through donations to organizations such as the Nature
Conservancy District, Sierra Club, Greater Kankakee Grand
Marsh Restoration, to name a few.

We invite you to join our friendly, family-oriented,
conservation-minded association.  We offer 40 acres of
secure, peaceful, green country side with 17+ acres of prime
fishing waters.  A covered pavillion and a large clubhouse.  We
are located at 2000 E. Main Street, Griffith, Indiana.  Our
membership is open to anyone who wishes to enjoy the
