The Dawg House Pub, located off U.S. 30 at Whitcomb in Merrillville, is a clean, friendly neighborhood tavern. We’re situated in a strip mall between Discount Liquors and Aladdin Pita. We serve beer and wine only (no hard liquor). Our menu includes Doreen’s and Torelli’s Pizza, quesadillas, chicken wings and strips, French fries, onion rings and various appetizers such as mushrooms, jalapeno poppers and jumbo pretzels. We also feature Vienna Beef hot dogs and polish sausage and Johnsonville brats. For your entertainment we feature Arachnid, soft tip, electronic dartboards, pool tables, Golden Tee Live Golf, and a killer jukebox. Our evening dart leagues are on Tuesday (advanced), Wednesday (beginners), Thursday (ladies only), and Sunday (advanced). We host a large, blind draw, 2-person team dart tournament as well as a double elimination 8-ball tournament every Friday night. Monday night is poker night! We host a World Tavern Poker League tournament on Monday night. It’s free to play and the ultimate prize is a $10,000.00 seat at the World Series of Poker Main Event!!
