APRIL GUEST SPEAKER
At press time no guest speaker had been arranged for this month’s
meeting.
LCF&G OPEN HOUSE
Lake County Fish and Game will host an open house at the club on
April 6th from noon ‘til 5 PM.
This is an excellent time to bring friends and neighbors out to see our
facility and consider joining us. We’ll have hot dogs on the
grill and drinks in the fridge.
Come out and join us and bring someone interested in joining an
organization dedicated to family fun. After all, this is a great place to
bring your kids or grandkids.
2007 BIG DEER/BIG BIRD CONTESTS
Ken Zimny, again, won the Most Impressive Rack Contest with his 8 point
buck harvested in Illinois with a muzzleloader. Congratulations, Ken!
Steven Kruk, son of member Keith Kruk, won the Big Pheasant Contest with
his first ever cock pheasant taken at New Horizons Hunt Club in
Fair Oaks, IN. Dad says it took a few shots but the result was worth
the effort. Way to go, Steven!
Finally, Joe Quasney won the Big Turkey Contest with his 16 lb.
Tom taken in Rochester, IN last May. Congratulations, Joe!
